The NZIGP Icebreaker returns to Hampton Downs Motorsport Park to launch the 2026-27 NZIGP Events season, bringing together New Zealand's grassroots production car racers for a full day of endurance competition.
This year's opening round introduces an exciting new format for NZIGP, featuring both a 1 Hour and 400km Endurance Race on the National Circuit. Sharing the programme is the opening round of the SP Tools TA2 New Zealand Championship, with guest appearances from Australian TA2 competitors set to add even more excitement to the weekend.
Spectator entry is free, so come along and enjoy the start of another thrilling season at Hampton Downs.
