How to become an HD Auto Member
Becoming an HD Auto Member is easy! Follow the process below to secure your HD Auto membership.
Process:
- Pay a one-off $50 registration fee.
- Register for an upcoming HD Auto track day on the Club Circuit.
- Complete an induction at this track day. After completing an induction, enjoy the rest of the track day. We will follow your progress so you get the most from the day.
- After completing the induction and track day, you will be a part of the HD Auto Club and will be able to book all future HD Auto track days on both our Club Circuit and National Circuit.

Firstly, you need to sign up as a member by clicking the "SIGN UP NOW" button and following the on screen process to pay your one-off $50 joining fee. When doing this, please note that you are not booking a track day - you are simply paying the joining fee and signing up to be an HD Auto member. You will then receive a welcome email to the membership which will outline the track day booking process from here forward.
No, when you first join HD Auto you will need to complete an induction on the Club Circuit which consists of an extended briefing on racing, braking and acceleration lines. This will prepare you for the National Circuit.
About the induction
The induction will focus on the safety guidelines that must be adhered to, and your driving ability will be assessed. Once you have completed the induction on the Club Circuit, you will be invited to National Circuit track days.
To ensure that we are compliant with our Insurers, Work Safe NZ, and other interested parties; it is imperative that all new members complete Hampton Downs induction process, for each independent activity. Please note that any previous track experience at Hampton Downs, is not factored into the induction process.
