Planning Your Day
Before The Event
Deciding on Your Tickets. Depending on the event you will have numerous ticketing options. To purchase online tickets for events please go to "Purchase Tickets" in Fans or refer to the calendar for ticketing websites. The majority of MotorSport racing has gate Sales to ensure you do not miss out!
When selecting your tickets you need to determine what area of the event will best suit you.
If you would prefer the comfort of a grandstand seat then Grandstand tickets would be your best option. These tickets allow you to move amongst the grandstand seats, viewing the track for a variety of locations.
Bringing a group of friends along and want to relax in an environment with live entertainment? Then come along to one of our Marquee tents, which supply a range of beverages and food for you to enjoy. Or better yet stay at the Trackside Self Contained Luxury Apartments and view the racing from your own personal balcony only 25m from the front straight! Go to the "Accommodation" section of this website for more information and booking enquiries!
Planning on bringing the whole family along? Then we would recommend General Admission tickets and a picnic! Children under 12 years of age are usually free when accompanied by a General Admission adult.
Regarding food there will also be delicious BBQ food available on event weekends supplied by Austin's Food Design Events. See below for the menu which are available throughout the da

As a responsible host Hampton Downs encourages groups of people to nominate a designated driver for the day.
What to do
To ensure you get around everything at Hampton Downs we have prepared check list for you to guide you:
- Learn about the race meetings origin
- Say a big “Kia Ora” to at least one new person
- Take a photo of your favourite car on your mobile phone and send it to your mate, with a note wishing they were here
- Try and work out the total value of all the cars competing at the event
- Wander the pit area and watch each drivers crew working hard on their cars
- Take time to give us some constructive feedback about what you like or would like changed for future events
- Enjoy quality food from Austin's, our catering company, at one of our dining venues
- During winter bring a coat to keep warm or visit "Hamptons", our convention centre, which has a full Cafe in it! On the deck lean on a bar leaner and view the action on corner one and the back straight.
