California Superbike School
- Start Date: 6 February
- Finish Date: 7 February
- Time: 9am - 5pm
- Organiser: Motorcycling Events Group

The California Superbike School has a bulletproof, step by step method for training riders in the exact skills of cornering motorcycles. We are not famous racers or great businessmen but weve become recognized worldwide, on four continents, because our system of training works and riders benefit from it.
From the official Norwegian licensing program for riders to the training of the motorcycle mounted Civil Defense, Fire and Police departments of South East Asia to the individual skills of very successful racers, riders improve (often beyond their expectations) by our system. We guarantee improvement.
Each of our many riding discoveries over the past three decades cleanly and effectively shatters the targeted barrier or the uncertainty riders experience in their cornering. The Superbike Schools program has matured and become integrated based on the experiences of real riders and their countless successes at overcoming their uncertainties, replacing them with skill and the real rush theyve always wanted.
As we forge these discoveries into defined skills and written material, we translate them into simple and understandable techniques to constantly refine our four levels of training. With more effective drills and ways to demonstrate and communicate them, the success rate climbs and climbs. Our students are coached by us and they learn. Their barriers get blown away and they are replaced with confidence.
Once you discover that cornering really is an art and that your own potential is far greater than you ever thought, the real excitement begins.
Learn the skills, Discover the art. Book now!

Hampton Downs Ride Days
- Start Date: 8 February
- Finish Date: 8 February
- Time: 9am - 5pm
- Organiser: Motorcycling Events Group NZ Ltd

What is a Ride Day...?
A Ride Day is an event where you can ride your motorcycle through a controlled series of corners, over and over, at a speed you feel comfortable, without needing to be concerned with the countless potential hazards you experience in an uncontrolled environment such as public roads. It is not a race day or even a race practice day. Ride Days were created so you can see what you and your motorcycle are capable of in the safest possible environment.
Our staff of trained professionals are there to maximise your enjoyment of the day by creating and managing this environment. They will carefully monitor group behaviour and ensure you are placed in the correct group for your riding level. If there are any questions or issues on the day, our staff are more than happy to either answer your questions or come up with solutions to assist you in enjoying your Hampton Downs Ride Day.

V8 Supertourers
- Start Date: 17 February
- Finish Date: 19 February
- Time: 9am - 5pm
- Organiser: HRC

V8 SuperTourers - February 17,18 and 19
The series the fans have been waiting for starts here
The new V8 SuperTourers are the fastest V8s to ever compete in a domestic series in New Zealand and with 575 horsepower, hand built seven litre engines and a 100 kg weight advantage compared to their Aussie Supercar cousins, they will be stunningly quick wherever they race. Round 1 will have the New Zealand and international motorsports spotlight firmly on it between February 17,18 and 19 2012 at Hampton Downs and the first weekend is shaping up to be one of the motorsport events of 2012.
As well as the awesome cars, the series has a field of drivers that would be the envy of many international series - let alone anything domestic. Greg Murphy, Craig Baird, John McIntyre, Paul Manuell, Kayne Scott, Andy Booth, Andy Knight and nine others making up the confirmed sixteen car field have more titles between them than you can shake a stick at, and it is with good reason the series is known as the V8 Series of Champions.
Fast cars, great drivers, an action packed support bill featuring Central Muscle Cars and ticket prices so inexpensive your jaw will drop make this meeting an absolute must for V8 and motorsport fans in general. Don't miss it. The blockbuster event of 2012 in the New Zealand circuit racing calendar.

National Superbike Championship Round 4 Hampton Downs hosted By Auckland Motorcycle Club March 17th & 18th
We plan on making this a full on family event, catering for the children and the wife's/partners of the petrol heads so they don’t need the weekend pass to get their speed fix.
Family entry is $45 Mum, Dad & two children (additional children $5), Adults $25, Children under 15 free if accompanied by a fee paying adult. To pre-purchase tickets go to www.hdticketing.co.nz
For the youngsters (Under 15's who will have free entry if accompanied by an adult) there will be a range of activities supplied by the Cambridge company 'Event Fun' they will be bringing several blow up apparatuses from surf board challenges, mazes and with any luck one of the biggest slides in the southern hemisphere. We will have a face painting artist and am negotiating with a caricaturist to attend who can produce quick drawings not only for the kids but other individual, race teams etc.
The emphasis being on fun!!
We will be having a range of craft stalls from local artists within the North Island displaying and selling their work as well as trade/dealer/accessories stands from the motorcycle industry and stands from others displaying their business's wares from specialist camera suppliers, camping gear to tool suppliers and so much more.
A display of American muscle cars and hopefully some Hogs will be there for the public to stare deep into the chrome of and we have our fingers crossed for a certain Mr John Britten's Mobil 1 sponsored pink and purple creation to be on display as well as some other exotic creations on both two and four wheels.
As well as the on track thrills and spills provided by some of the best riders from here and overseas in some of the closest racing we have seen in a long time we will have the North Islands very own Nic Kroeze to entertain in the lunch break showing us what is possible on a motorcycle on one wheel and the speed at which a perfectly usable tyre can be destroyed. The American muscle cars will also get to show spectators what they sound like with a couple of laps of the circuit.
There will be food outlets and fresh coffee available from onsite caterers and access to 'Hamptons' the bar and food outlet with a panoramic view from turn one to two from its deck.
Importantly riders and spectators need to bring an FM radio and tune it to 102.5 fm, most cell phones have this capability and race teams, between you get a standalone radio for your pits. This is going to be the best way to hear not only the commentary but also dummy grid calls, so to keep in the loop about what is going on BRING A RADIO!
Come and enjoy a fantastic day at the circuit and watch some great racing action!
